I am very sad to learn that another great comedian / director / writer / actor is gone. Mr. Morris could do it all, he was a very, funny & talented man. From the Sid Ceasar Show, Ernest T. Bass in Andy Griffth Show (& specials) to the hillarious Mr. Holdecker (the art expert) in the Dick Van d**e Show, funny never goes out of style, I expect that Howard Morris' work will be entertaining generations forever,

I just wanted to post to let the family know that I am so sorry about the loss of "Ernest T Bass". I was so fond of the character that I named one of my all time favorite horses after him -Ernest T. And this horse has truly earned his name. He is so popular at horse shows that I've had young children run up to him singing "Ernest T, Ernest T!!!" He has also won a world championship and 2 reserve world championship titles. He is as comical as the character himself and knows how to charm everyone especially the ladies. And he "ain't no creature"!

Thank you for the funny times, you made the Andy Griffith show even more special.
