I entered this site tonight as I discovered it when I looked up Howard to see exactly when he had passed away.  I just wanted to let your family know how much Howard was loved and enjoyed by our family over the years.  My father and I watched Andy and the gang several times a day the last 9 years of his life and would not miss an episode but his favorite was always Ernest T Bass.  He would always laugh and laugh no matter how may times he had seen the episodes.  I was watching the TV Land marathon tonight and thinking of both our fathers. He was always such a good actor but it is "It's me, it's me, it's Ernest T" that we will always remember.  Thank you for sharing him with all of us.  He will always be missed.  Sincerely, Linda S.
